FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS TO UPLOAD THESE FILES to the iSeries/400 or click here for F.A.Q.
NOTE: *.ZIP files are zipped files containing the actual files to be uploaded to the iSeries/400. DO NOT UPLOAD THE *.ZIP FILE DIRECTLY... First, do this:
1. create a tempory directory on the PC
2. place the received *.ZIP file there
3. Unzip to extract the actual file . This is the file that gets uploaded to the iSeries/400.
4. You can then delete the *.ZIP file.
Using Windows Explorer with Shared Folders, map a network drive to any subdirectory of QDLS, for example //S10xxxxxxxx/QDLS/TEMP. Then drag & drop the file into the subdirectory (i.e. "folder")
NOTE: QSECOFR should have access to the chosen folder from an iSeries/400 session.
If the date of program MISYS/SRVPAKAPLY *pgm is newer than 7-19-98, execute the MISYS/SRVPAKAPLY *pgm, either via a direct call:
CALL PGM(MISYS/SRVPAKAPLY)
or from the MIRROR IMAGE Administration menu, "Apply Service Pack" option.
If older than 7-19-98, call for instructions.
